I have a babyface pro fs and a scarlett 6i6. Both interfaces have different optical out and ins. My babyface has a optical toslink connection and my scarlett has a coaxial connection which i believe is a mini toslink connection. I want to make my scarlett a slave to my babyface so i can have more mic inputs. I wonder if this cable will help 😅

Hi Bro, I have a stupid question. I have both outputs on the TV: Aux 3.5 and Optical SPDIF. And I only have Aux 3.5 on the speakers. My question is: will the Audio quality be better if I use the Converter >>SPDIF Optical to 3.5Aux<<<<< or will it be exactly the same even worse? Thank you

3:50 sharp tv has a mode called "audio out" which if i conject earphones the tv still has sound, i recommend you buy a sharp tv

Do you have eArc, my new Samsung tv doesn’t have an optical output, but I have a Bluetooth capable tv . I bought a Bluetooth receiver and paired to my tv problem solved on one hdmi. My cable box has an optical output so I can use that to feed the optical in on my surround sound, Problem solved here too, I bought an d since returned an hdmi with an optical breakout to provide signal but I could not get it to work. My Samsung tv tv defaults to tv speakers which I have turned to zero. I have to pair every time I use the Bluetooth, makes for using my firestick kinda wonky I can’t use video out of my stereo, an unstable picture when going through the Bose surround system video out, my other tv I had for 16 years ad no issue, got a bigger tv.

Hi there! I’m so new to this! I’d appreciate some help! I have a turntable with a built in preamp. It came with the RCA cables. I’d like to purchase a soundbar but I’m not sure how to convert or use an adapter for it to go to whatever the soundbar accepts! Some have optical I believe.

I am trying to provide sound from a music channel by way of my cable tv provider on my tv. I have two speakers permanently installed on my patio around my pool. If I purchase a digital to analog audio converter will it work or must I purchase a stereo receiver also

Well you chose 2 tvs that happen to have the worts kind of speakers you can get out of tvs. (Altough the small ones from that samsung tv are actually very good) many tvs have slim woofers to help with the bass.

how much information/data will be lost using this kind of converter? i'm thinking about using it on my record player that only has RCA outputs and routing it to a sound bar at the TV that i use as an audio system for movies and Playstation, audio from TV goes through HMDI so optical port is free to use. Optical cable shouldn't have any looses, so the lenght of the cable shouldn't affect to the quality of sound, but i'm not sure about this kind of converter... Help anyone with more experience than me...
